Harvey Edward Daines was born Feb. 6, 1884 to Isaac E. and Ella M. Cotteral Daines. He died July 3, 1946 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo, IA. 

Capt. Daines served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War I and World War II.

Herman Robert DeCock was born Nov. 30, 1913 to Alfons and Livinia VanKerrebroeck DeCock. He died July 9, 1948 and is buried in Saint Anns Catholic Church Cemetery, Long Grove, IA.

Herman served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Marvin Verle DeLapp was born July 23, 1915. He died Oct. 25, 1944/FOD Dec, 7, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne, MN.

Chief Petty Officer DeLapp served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tang (SS-306) and was lost at sea in the Formosa Strait near Turnaabout Island when that vessel was sunk by a circular run of their own torpedo. He also served aboard the USS Seal (SS-183)l and USS Salmon (SS-182), He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Donald Wilson Denhart was born Oct. 5, 1921 to Lloyd J. and Lela Pearl Blunck Denhart. He died Mar. 3 1, 2008 and is buried in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as Navigation Officer aboard the USS LCI(G)-464, Waipio Amphibious Operating Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Robert Levi Dittmer was born Aug. 24, 1923 to Walter Carl Jacob and Jessie Pauline Levi Dittmer. He died Oct. 6, 1944 and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.

Sgt. Dittmer served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force, 848th Bomber Squadron, 490th Bomber Group and was KIA as a bombardier on B-17G, #43-38180 on a mission to bomb Berlin.

Richard L. Donohoe was born Oct. 8, 1915 to Anthony Patrick and Kathryn Naomi McCormack Donohoe. He died Apr. 12, 1976 and is buried in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Richard served in World War II Army.

Roland Leroy Doose was born July 17, 1922 to John E. and Leone M. Roland Doose. He died Mar. 21, 1944 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

2nd Lt. Doose served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Flight Instructor.

LeRoy Henry Dougherty was born Jan. 30, 1920 to Henry L. and Edna K. Moeller Dougherty. He died Aug. 9, 1942 and has a cenotaph in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.

Ens. Dougherty served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps and died his patrol plane crashed following enemy engagement - Alaska.
