Harold Bernard Nelson was born June 21, 1916 to Oluf and Elsie Crisp Nelson. He died in 1971 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Oakland, CA.

Harold served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Hubert Carl “Bud” Nelson was born May 28, 1925 to John Herbert and Eva Cleo Gilliland Nelson. He died Dec. 14, 1985 and is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA.

Hubert served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Shelby F. Newman was born Aug. 20, 1915 to R. E. and Emma Louise Meier Newman. He died Dec. 15, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Capt. Newman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 11th Infantry Regiment, 11th Philippine Division, was MIA and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Alvin Vernon Niemann was born May, 6, 1910 to Frederick C. and Emma H. Meister Niemann. He died Mar. 14, 1944 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Avoca, IA.

Pvt. Niemann served with the U.S. Army 156th Infantry in World War II.
