Warren Ellsworth Young was born Oct. 5, 1921 to Joseph L. and Florence May Grant Young. He died Sept. 12, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Clinton-Garfield Cemetery, Rolfe, IA.
Pvt. Young served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Dept., became a POW and died in a Japanese Prison Camp.
