John Hurlo was born Mar. 6, 1916 to Michael and Alexandria Krasutski Hurlo. He died Jan. 10, 2003 and is buried in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

John served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as an engineer and gunner on a B-17. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the ETO Ribbon with one Bronze Star, Air Medal, three Oak Leaf Clusters, World War II Victory Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon. He was a German POW for 22 months after his plane was shot down.

Carl Laurence Hutcheson was born Aug. 18, 1922 to Wayne H. and Bertha L. Kaw Hutcheson. He died July 11, 2002 an is buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Yankton, SD.
