Arvin Leon “Clink” Clinkenbeard was born Feb. 23, 1921 to Martin and Bertha M. White Clinkenbeard. He died Sept. 7, 2004 and is buried in Whiting Cemetery, Whiting, IA.

Clink served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star.
