Harold Matthew Clayton was born Dec. 16, 1916 to Matthew Rhinehart and Anna E. Pederson Clayton. He died Sept. 23, 1988 and is buried in Saint Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Riceville, IA.

Harold served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Kenneth Randolph Clayton was born Apr. 14, 1922 to Matthew Rhinehart and Anna E. Pederson Clayton. He died Dec. 19, 2003 and is buried in Lemoore Cemetery, Lemoore, CA.

Petty Officer Clayton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. He earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and National Defense Medal.

Robert Lee Clayton, Sr. was born Feb. 25, 1920 to Matthew Rhinehart and Anna E. Pederson Clayton. He died Sept. 6, 1997 and is buried in Osage Cemetery, Osage, IA.

Chief Petty Officer Clayton served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps as a crew chief and metalsmith on the Navy’s PBY aircraft. He was a survivor of the Japanese attack on Fort Island at Pearl Harbor.
