Richard Grant Tharp was born May 29, 1922 to Benjamin Harrison and Bonnie J. Barnett Tharp. He died Aug. 11, 1948 and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Eddyville, IA.

Petty Officer Tharp served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

William James “The Boss" Trigg was born Jan. 12, 1917 to Loraine Jackson and Ruby Catherine Reeder Trigg. He died Nov. 9, 1997 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.

Lt Col. Trigg served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 42nd and 30th Bomb Groups. He also served in Korea and Vietnam.

David Francis Turner was born Sept. 6, 1917 to D. F. and Irene Airy Turner. He died Nov. 26, 1942 and is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.

Sgt. Turner served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 3rd Pursuit Squadron and became a POW of the Japanese during the “Fall of the Philippines". He died while a POW in Manchuria, China. He was awarded the Prisoner of War Medal and the Purple Heart.
