Thomas VanGelder was born July 1, 1925 to John and Johanna (Van Houten-Koelman) VanGelder. He died Mar. 19, 2018 and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, IA. 

Thomas served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was with the Occupation Forces in Germany and decorated with the Victory medal and Army of Occupation Medal.

Cassius Myron “Cass” Vickerman was born July 10, 1920 to Floyd J. and Elsie Gall Vickerman. He died June 12, 1946 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City, OR. 

Cass served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
