Alvin Thomas Reemts was born Apr. 16, 1919 to Heiko and Epke Wildeboer Reemts. He died July 30, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rock County, MN.

Petty Officer Reemts served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) when that ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine and sank in 12 minutes. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

James Robert “Jim" Roach was born Aug. 25, 1922 to Paul Ramsey and Doris Aileen Kline Roach. He died Aug. 5, 2010 and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, IA. 

Jim served with the U.S. Navy Bomb Disposal School; Naval Advanced Base, Treasury; Mobile Explosives Investigation Unit No. 1; and U.S. Navy Bureau of Ordnance in World War II.

Paul Ramsey Roach was born May 1, 1892 to Edwin Clay and Mary Alice Ramsey Roach. He died Oct. 4, 1975 and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, IA. 

Capt. Roach served with the U.S. Army in World War I and World War II.
