Lyle Elbert Mason was bon Dec. 31, 1925 to Guy E. and Pearl V. Maddy Mason. He died Dec. 21, 1992 and is buried in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA.

Lyle served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Conrad Francis McDonald was born Apr. 12, 1925 to Francis and Rosie Nettie Terrell McDonald. He died Sept. 4, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA.

Petty Officer McDonald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA following a plane crash in the South Pacific.

Franklin Wayne McDonald was born Sept. 24, 1924 to George Washington and Artie Marie DeWitt McDonald. He died June 15, 1944 and is buried in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA. He was initially buried in the 4th Marine Division Cemetery on Saipan and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. McDonald served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 5th Amphibious Corps (VAC) and was KIA during landing operations on Saipan.

Lyle E. Mosbey was born Apr. 4, 1920 to to Carl M. and Lillie Robison Mosbey. He died Feb. 22, 1944/FOD Jan. 11, 1946 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Mosbey served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Scorpion (SS-278) and was MIA/KIA/FOD when that vessel was lost at sea, cause unknown. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
