Richard Marvin Soesbe was born Nov. 19, 1923 to Harry Ivan and Cleo Inez McCalley Soesbe. He died Aug. 26, 1948 and is buried in Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City, IA. 

Pvt. Soesbe served with the U.S. Army 127th Field Artillery in World War II. 


Myron Leroy Sorden was born Apr. 27, 1918 to Glen H. and Ferne Heaton Sorden. He died Jan. 8, 1996 and is buried in Sorden Cemetery, Webster, IA,

Myron served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 367th Bomb Squadron. 306th Bomb Group. He was a German POW.

Karl Louis Sorenson was born Apr. 25, 1906 to J. K. L. and Ida M. Hill Sorenson. He died Nov. 19, 1992.

MSgt. Sorenson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 47th Bomb Group, 97th Bomb Squadron as Armament Section Chief and was awarded the Legion of Merit.

William Lavern Sowers was born Aug. 16, 1918 to John R. and Margie J. Parliament Sowers. He died Aug. 5, 1979 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pvt. Sowers served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.
