David Oscar Weaver was born Mar 29, 1904 to Oscar David and Ida Belle Weaver. He died Dec. 15, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.

Chief Petty Officer Weaver served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Houston (CA-30) when that vessel was sunk during an engagement with enemy ships in the Sunda Straits. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Carl Garrison Wellman was born Sept. 13, 1925 to Henry and Bertha Wellman. He died Aug. 25, 2014 and is buried in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Harvard, IL.

Petty Officer Wells served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Birmingham (CL-62) and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
