Richard E. Erickson as born Oct. 24, 1923. He died Nov. 24, 1944 and was initially buried in the USAF Cemetery, Leyte No. 1, Philippine Islands and returned to the U.S. in 1948 for burial in Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.

2nd Lt. Erickson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 8th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron, 6th Photo Reconnaissance Group and was MIA/KIA.
