William Francis Kallaus was born Nov. 8, 1923 to Glenn Edward and Estella “Stella” Elizabeth Kern Kallaus. He died Feb. 21, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Kallaus served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bismarck Sea (CVE-95) which was sunk off Iwo Jima. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Gerald Leo Klaren was born May 6, 1927 to Leo and Evelyn Gearhart Klaren. He died Mar. 19, 1945, was buried at sea, and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Klaren served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
