Albert Standish Ford was born May 4, 1922 to Frederick P. and Barbara Standish Ford. He died July 16, 1945 (FOD) and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

2nd Lt. Ford served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 10th Squadron, 3rd Combat Cargo Group and was MIA July 15, 1944 aboard C-47A Skytrain #42-93371. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
