Gordon Eugene Mallicoat was born Oct. 30, 1916 to Hugh James and Ethyl Alnora Edwards Mallicoat. He died June 8, 1945 and is buried in Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth, IA.

Cpl. Mallicoat served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Harold Edward Mallicoat was born Apr. 25, 1921 to Hugh James and Ethyl Alnora Edwards Mallicoat. He died Nov. 1, 1981 and is buried in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA. 

Harold served in World War II with the U.S. Army 37th General Hospital.

Howard Dwight Mallicoat was born Sept. 20, 1926 to Hugh James and Ethyl Alnora Edwards Mallicoat. He died Oct. 15, 1984 and is buried in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA. 

Howard served in World War II with the U.S. Army 106th Infantry Regiment.

Wayne Samuel Marvin, Sr. was born Aug. 21, 1918 to Charles Wesley and Laura Jane McNeil Marvin. He died July 19, 1944 and is buried in Preston Cemetery, Preston, IA.

2nd Lt. Marvin served in World War II with the U.S. Army 331st Infantry, 83rd Division and was KIA in Normandy.

Eugene Carroll McCaffrey was born Nov. 8, 1920 to Eugene Henry and Margaret A. Carroll McCaffrey. He died Dec. 1, 1941 and is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa, IA.

2nd Lt. McCaffrey served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Darrell Elroy Meinke was born Nov. 3, 1920 to Albert and Nellie Blunt Meinke. He died Jan. 6, 2012 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Meinke served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.
