Buford served in World War II with the U.S. Army General Headquarters, U.S. Army Forces in the Pacific.

Lawrence M. Lingenfelter was born Feb. 26, 1924 to Henry B. and Fern M. Harper Lingenfelter.

Lawrence served with the U.S. Army 105th Field Artillery in World War II.

Lorrain Parmar Little was born Jan. 12, 1915 to Homer and Nella Little. He died Jan. 9, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium and memorialized in Burge Cemetery, Henry Co., IA.

Pvt. Little served in World War II with Co. L, 84th Division, 335th Infantry and was KIA in Belgium while serving his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold Scott “Red” Livix was born Sept. 17, 1911 to Zelma Melvin and Nina Margaret Scott Livix. He died Aug 17, 2007 and is buried in Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, IA.

Sgt. Livix served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in Sicily, Normandy, Northern France, Naples, Rome, Rhineland and Central Europe and was awarded seven Bronze Stars.
