Donald Richard Garrett was born Sept. 28, 1918 to George N. and Esther L. Hughes Garrett. He died Dec. 28, 2004 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA and has a cenotaph in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.

Maj. Garrett served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

David Gerdes was born Jan. 8, 1925 to Arthur and Florence Shively Gerdes. He died Mar. 2, 2001 and is buried in Steamboat Rock Cemetery, Steamboat Rock, IA.

David served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS LCI-435.

Raymond Clarence Gibleon as born July 10, 1924 to Clarence H. and Emma A. Roll Gibleon. He died Oct. 22, 1943 and is buried in Eldora City Cemetery, Eldora, IA. 

Pvt. Gibleon served with the U.S. Marine Corps, Third Casual Company, Recruit Depot, Marine Corps Base, San Diego, CA in World War II.

Jack Leroy Gilmore was born Dec. 10, 1921 to Roy and Lila Ranger Gilmore. He died Mar. 25, 2018 and is buried in the Alden Cemetery, Alden, Iowa.

Jack served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific, aboard the CVE escort USS Makin Island (CVE-93).

Sgt. Glenney served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 15th and 6th Coast Artillery and 397th Anti-Aircraft Artillery, Automatic Weapons Battalion.
