Paul Robert Hickey was born June 20, 1920 to John E. and Vera A. Savage Hickey. He died Mar. 21, 2004 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah, WI.

Cpl. Hickey served in World War II with the U.S. Army 101st Infantry 26th Division and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Richard D. Hickman was born Mar. 3, 1923 to Earl C. and Florence Lawson Hickman. He was the stepson of William Andrew Hager. He died May 27, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Sgt. Hickman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and was MIA and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Emil Glenn “Glen" Hill was born Sept. 6, 1913 to George Platter and Nellie Ann Van Horn Hill. He died May 8, 1970 and is buried in Thurman Cemetery, Thurman, IA.

Sgt. Hill served in World War II with the U.S. Army 93rd Signal Battalion in Europe. He was assigned to the XII Corps, 3rd Army under Gen. Patton and participated in the Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe battles and campaigns, receiving 4 bronze battle stars. He received the Bronze Star Medal for his actions during the Battle of the Bulge.

George Edward Hill was born Oct. 3, 1906 to George Platter and Nellie Ann Van Horn Hill. He died Jan. 3, 1991 and is buried in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, IA.

George served in World War II with the U.S. Army 87th Ordnance Company.
