Lyle Eugene Kilgore was bon Aug. 6, 1905 to Fred S. and Viola May Hall Kilgore. He died Dec. 26, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Kilgore served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Brownson (DD-518) which was hit by two bombs from a Japanese dive bomber and was sunk in the Battle of New Britain. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Chester Louis Knudson was born Mar. 6, 1922 to Carl T. and Minnie Noll Knudson. He died Feb. 26, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. 

Sgt. Knudson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
