Homer James Amos was born Aug. 29, 1920 to Homer J. and Hazel Beulah Hoffman Amos. He died Jan. 26, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Sgt. Amos served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was MIA/FOD/KIA and was awarded the Purple Heart.

John Wesley Atchison was born Jan. 18, 1920 to Wesley and Bertha Matilda Debord Atchison. He died June 28, 1947 and is buried in Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque, IA. Cpl. Atchison served with the U.S. Army 9222nd Tech Service Unit in World War II.

Joseph A. Auderer was born Mar. 23, 1922 to Joseph J. and Katherine Krug Auderer. He died Oct. 15, 1943 and is buried in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Rickardsville, IA.

Pvt. Auderer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 601st Tank Destroyer Battalion and was KIA in the Salerno drive through Italy.
