Albert Lee Owens was born July 15, 1915 to Stephen Francis “Steve” and Grace Maude Cooper Owens. He died Aug. 31, 1947 and is buried in Leon, IA. 

Pvt. Owens served with the U.S. Army 909th Motor Ambulance Company, Medical Dept. in World War II.

Lawrence A. Owens was born Aug. 2, 1919 to Stephen F. and Grace Maude Owens. He died June 6, 1968 and is buried in Wheelis Cemetery, Grand River, IA. Lawrence served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Ivan Phillip “Wimpy” Owen was born June 2, 1926 to George Wesley and Bessie Marie Cooper Owen. He died June 5, 2011 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Indianola, IA.

Ivan served in World War II with the U.S. Army where he was a replacement at the Battle of the Bulge. He was in three major battles and awarded three battle stars, other campaign ribbons and served during occupation for 18 months.

Willard Lee Owens was born Feb. 23, 1913 to George Wesley and Bessie Marie Owens. He died Aug. 7, 1955 and is buried in Leon Cemetery, Leon, IA.
