Ellsworth Patrick was born July 14, 1900 to Willis and Hulda Jeanetta McGuire Patrick. He died Sept. 21, 1946 and is buried in Hill City Cemetery, Hill City, SD.

Pvt. Patrick served in World War II with the U.S. Army 311th Infantry, 78th Infantry Division.

Max Armond Prather was born May 12, 1914 to Roy and Inez Dora Heath Prather. He died Aug. 30, 1944/FOD Feb. 22, 1946 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Taguig City, Philippines. 

Sgt. Prather served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 405th Bomber Squadron, 38th Bomber Group, Medium and was MIA/KIA aboard B-25D Mitchell when it left Biak Island and was never heard from thereafter. The ship was flying alone on a weather reconnaissance mission.
