Lowell Marvin “Bud” Neff was born Aug. 21, 1921 to Clarence Edward and Ethel Mae DeLong Neff. He died May 25, 1992 and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, IA.
Petty Officer Neff served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Morris (DD-417) which hit by a kamikaze attack on Apr. 6, 1945 and he was injured in that attack.

Merlyn served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps and U.S. Army Air Corps.
