George Arthur Rhea was born June 19, 1923 to William James Nelson and Nora Mae Funk Rhea. He died Nov. 24, 2006 and is buried in Afton Cemetery, Cherokee, IA.

George served with the U.S. Army in the Philippines in World War II.
