Pvt. Braband served in World War II with the U.S. Army 46th Coast Artillery, 482nd Armored Field Artillery Battalion and Headquarters Battery 412th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, 20th Armored Division.

Donald Glenn Brandt was born Mar. 20, 1926 to Adolph E. and Emma Krekow Brandt. He died Oct. 25, 1985.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the LCT(6) 576 and LCT Groups 8 and 4, Flotilla 3.

Emory served in World War II with the U.S. Army at Station Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, MO and 143rd and 61st General Hospitals.

Ronald K. “Brownie” Brown was born Mar. 14, 1924 to Clyde and Mamie Chester Brown. He died Jan. 16, 2017 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee, IA.

Brownie served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Submarine “Secret Service”. Following Quartermaster training, he served on the USS Spot (SS-413) from 1942-1946. As a Quartermaster, he was the first one to climb to the tower when the submarine surfaced and the last one down the ladder when they submerged.

Wesley James Brown was born Mar. 11, 1916 to R. J. and Bessie White Brown. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial and USS Oklahoma Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Brown served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA while serving aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) when it was bombed at Pearl Harbor.
