Wilbur Dean Dandy was born Dec. 13, 1922 to William Frisby and Lydia Ann Brown Dandy. He died Dec. 19, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Lone Tree Cemetery, Sioux Rapids, IA.

Petty Officer Dandy served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died while serving his country and was awarded the Bronze Star and Navy-Marine Corps Medal.

Ernest Andrew Axel Danielson was born Aug. 6, 1920 to Oscar and Bertha Ponsar Danielson. He died Sept. 28, 2004 and is buried in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, Colleyville, TX.

Petty Officer Danielson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Evert Joseph Danielson was born Sept. 4, 1919 to Emil Emanuel and Hulda Charlotta Peterson Danielson. He died Aug. 31, 2005 and is buried in Fairfield Cemetery, Albert City, IA.

Sgt. Danielson served in World War II with the U.S. Army, Second Armored Division (tanks) participating in the invasions of Casablanca, D-Day in Sicily and D-Day plus two on Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. He earned the Bronze Star and seven major battle stars. His division earned the Presidential Citation.

Lowell Frederick “Bud” Danielson was born Dec. 18. 1918 to Oscar E. and Bertha Ponsar Danielson. He died Apr. 2, 1957 and is buried in Fairfield Township Cemetery, Albert City, IA.

Pvt. Danielson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 19th Engineer Regiment.
