Glen Eugene Smith was born May 15, 1916 to Arlie R. and Grace R. Huggard Smith. He died Oct. 27, a996 and is buried in Willow Lawn Cemetery, Plainfield, IA. Sgt. Smith served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Lawrence Wayne Smith was born Oct. 18, 1920 to Arlie R. and Grace R. Huggard Smith. He died Aug. 30, 2018 and is buried in Willow Lawn Cemetery, Plainfield, IA. Lawrence served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was trained to be a Scout and was shipped to England with the Fourth Division and landed in France. They met the Germans 6 miles inland. He was wounded in Germany and taken to the field hospital. When he was healed he came back to the company to drive for the Intelligence Officers until the end of the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Mark Leroy Smith was born Dec. 7, 1925 to Arlie R. and Grace R. Huggard Smith. He died Oct. 27, 2020 and is buried in Willow Lawn Cemetery, Plainfield, IA. Mark served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps in the Russell Islands, Okinawa and North China.
