Harvey Seegers was born Oct. 26, 1913 to William and Maria Wente Seegers. He died Jan. 12, 2010 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. MSgt. Seegers served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Vernon L. Seegers was born Jan. 14, 1924 to Louis F. and Amanda M. Bartling Seegers. He died Mar. 3, 1945 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Denver, IA. He was initially buried in the 5th Marine Division Cemetery, Iwo Jima and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. Seegers served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 26th Marines, 5th Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations on Iwo Jima.
