Norris Laverne Shefelbine was born Oct. 5, 1926 to Albert G. and Clara Gustava Goodno Shefelbine. He died Apr. 17, 2011 and is buried in Saint Johns Methodist Cemetery, Dorchester, IA.

MSgt. Shefelbine served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the Hawaii Islands and Maryland. He taught and trained new Army personnel.

William Joseph Shields was born May 25, 1923 to William John and Rose Marie Arsnault Shields.

William served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Submarine Service aboard the USS Haddock (SS-231), USS Sea Cat (SS-399) and USS Tirante (SS-420) and at the submarine base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Gerald Thomas “Jerry” Shields was born Mar. 11, 1925 to William John and Rose Marie Arsnault Shields. He died June 5 , 2012 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.

Jerry served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Laws (DD-448),
