Frank served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater and New Guinea.

George K. Plein was born Oct. 9, 1904 to Anton Carl and Mary F. Deeney Plein. He died Oct. 11, 1974 and is buried in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, KS.

MSgt. Plein served in World War II with the U.S. Army. He also served in Korea.

James Christopher Plein was born Aug. 15, 1915 to Anton Carl and Mary F. Deeney Plein. He died Aug. 6, 1998 and is buried in Lycurgus Cemetery, Allamakee County, IA.

Sgt. Plein served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division as a medic in North Africa, Italy and France and was awarded the Silver Star.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 92nd Troop Carrier Squadron.
