Great Lakes, Illinois – Paul Meuleveld, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Meuleveld, Sioux City, was a member of a class of 400 men graduated from the navy service schools, United States naval training station here Wednesday. Meuleveld has just completed an intensive 16-week course iin the school for storekeepers.

Private John McGlauflin, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. McGlauflin, 1606 Jackson Street, has arrived to spend a short furlough with his parents. Private McGlaughlin is in the field artillery and is stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Capt. Gerald C. Line of the 133d infantry, 34th division, has returned to duty at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, after spending a 12-day furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Line.
