IA. They moved to the town of Spillville where John (Jack) was employed at Citizen’s Savings Bank. Their children are: Judith, Helen, twins Michael and Rita, David, and Karen. In 1993 John and Joyce moved to rural Calmar Twp. Donald C. Zoulek took over the Zoulek farm which was cited as a Century Farm. On 17 Jul 1972 he married Sandra Albertson, daughter of Hollis and Helena Herman Albertson of Ottumwa, IA. Their children are: Christy, Thomas, and Sara .

Zweibahmer, Theodore and Lillie (Svendsen)

Lillie Svendsen, daughter of John and Anna (Mikkelson) Svendsen, was born in 1923 in Bloomfield Twp. She married Theodore Zweibahmer (b. 1918) 19 Dec 1942. They farmed near Ossian. Lillie was always busy with housework, farm chores, and caring for her children.

Lillie and Theodore were the parents of 4 children: Sally, Karl, Kenneth, and Sandy. Sally married Milton Kipp, Mt. Pleasant, IA. Karl married Jeanne Holtey, Ft. Atkinson, IA. Kenneth was deaf and at the age of 5 started school at St. John’s School for the Deaf in Milwaukee, Wl. He graduated in 1968. Kenneth married Mary Klendworth, Ossian IA. Sandy married Larry Rothmeyer, Ft. Atkinson.

Lillie died in 1973; Theodore died in 1976. Both are buried at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Cemetery in Ossian.
