Again, this photo is from the Adna (Beatty) Walcott photo album. 

On the back of this photo is written: Helen Beatty (the girl on the left) and Gladys   ???even? (this picture was torn out of the photo album and the rest of Gladys's last name was ripped from the backing of the photo. 

Also written on it was the following:  Schoolgrounds, May, 1920, Clearfield Iowa   The actual words written on the back are in bold print.  My explanations are in italics.
