R. M. POMEROY
R. M. Pomeroy, county treasurer, was born in Franklin county, Pa., in 1849; moved to Louisa county, Ia., in 1872; was engaged in business at Morning Sun, and three years later moved to Shelby, Shelby county, and engaged in the mercantile business, which he
still owns. He is mayor of Shelby. He was elected county treasurer in 1881.
