LUCIEN HERBERT
Lucien Herbert, proprietor of saloon on west side of square, was born in Luxemburg, Ger.; is a graduate from the Luxemburg University, which he attended six years, graduating in 1878; came to the U. S. in 1879, and located at Wesphalia [Westphalia], Shelby county, Ia.; moved to Harlan in May, 1881.
