Miss Bertha Adams,
Elgin, Nebr.

Dear Miss Adams;-

Your letter to Mr. Roth about the school that is vacant has been turned over to me for attention.

You can come as soon as possible if you care to take the school. Two boarding places are open, each close to school and at $4.60 or $4.00 per week for board and room. The salary is $55.00 per month and there are between 15 to 18 pupils.

The school is five miles from Wall Lake, and seven miles from Odebolt, Iowa, and about three miles from a little town called Herring.

If you care to accept you can come at once and finish out the winter term and no doubt get the spring term and would like to have you let me know by return mail if you acccept the school or not.

Yours very truly,

Herman Werkmeister,
R.R. #2
Odebolt, Iowa
