40th Reunion
"Rock On" was the theme of the MACHS Class of 1968 40th Reunion held July 18 and 19 in Mount Ayr. Eighty-two classmates
and guests from nine states across America enjoyed events of the special weekend celebration. Kick-off festivities commenced
with a reception at Jeannette and Danny LUTRICK'S home Friday evening where 65 classmates and friends enjoyed a delightful
evening of reconnecting and reminiscing, along with a private preview of the Princess Theatre, courtesy of classmate Ron
LANDPHAIR. Saturday morning several classmates enjoyed a golf outing at the Sun Valley Golf & Country Club while others
enjoyed a motorcycle run with their high school friends. A dinner banquet was held Saturday evening at the American
Legion. Committee members Jeannie JACKSON RUFF, Susan LESAN, Billie EGLY, Lila OLNEY BRADLEY, Jeannette MOORE LUTRICK and
other fellow classmates created a lively, fun evening of friendship and camaraderie. Following the meal prepared by the
American Legion, several class members contributed to an entertaining after-dinner program comprised of Jim COLUSON, 1968 senior
class president, master of ceremonies; Jennie JACSON RUFF, business meeting; Joyce BAKER WARD, moment of prayer and blessing;
Lila OLNEY BRADLEY, golf awards and recognition; Jim MILLER, after-dinner speaker - "Your Back Woods: You Take'em With You"'
Susan LESAN, Jeopardy game and "Hello Again" Poem, Billie EGLY SUCHER. Mark and Carol DAVIS EIGHMY generously donated
several commemorative rocks engraved with MACHS Class of 1960 Rock On. Throughout the evening names were drawn to reveal
the lucky rock on winners. Class members present, along with their respective state of residence:
