Larry HOPKEY assumed the duties of bookkeeper Monday morning in the local office of the Rideta Electric Cooperative, Inc. HOPKEY, of Alexander, is 20 years of age and an August graduate of the American Institute of Business in Des Moines.

STUDENT AYR -- Members of the Future Business Leaders of America met October 13 in the home of Mrs. Jean YEAROUS, sponsor, and new officers were inducted as follows: Anna KOBBE, president; Janice CALDWELL, vice-president; Sharon LESAN, secretary; Geneva MINNICK, treasurer; and Diane Richards, reporter.

BIRTHS REPORTED FROM RINGGOLD COUNTY HOSPITAL:

  • A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Gary SILVER
  • A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. George A. HOSFIELD
  • A daughter to Mr. and mrs. Charles STEPHENS
