I. C. Hightshoe's sale at his farm in Riley township last Wednesday was attended by one of the largest crowd ever present at a public sale in Ringgold County. There were 210 automobiles on the grounds and many came in buggies and on horseback.

Mr. and Mrs. Harley Been and children left this morning for Goodland, KS, where they will make their home.

BEACONSFIELD - The Charley Stogdills are moving into the telephone building, recently vacated by Mrs. Dora Linkey and Nellis, and will take charge of the switchboard the coming year.

BIRTHS
POE - Born, February 14, a son, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Minnick.
LEE - The "stork special" which passed through Lee Friday morning left a ten-pound boy at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Casady, which found a hearty welcome as this is their first boy.
Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Lee Waggoner, February 14, an eight and one-half pound boy.
Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Glendenning, of Lotts Creek township, are the parents of a son, born February 17. Weight, eight pounds.
