Officers of the Ringgold County Fair Association were re-elected during the annual meeting held Thursday afternoon. They are: John D. WARIN of Maloy, president; Carl G. RIGGS of Tingley, vice-president; and Merritt TRIGGS of Mount Ayr, secretary.

Laurence BISHOP was elected worshipful master of Faith Lodge No. 179, A.F. and A.M. to succeed C.W. HORNE, during the regular communication of the fraternal organization Friday night. Other elective officers are L.W. GROSS, senior warden; Elbert STRANGE, junior warden; J.M. ANDERSON, treasurer; and Eldon MAIN, secretary.

Diana NICHOLS, who graduated November 25 from the C.E. School of Commerce in Omaha, NE, has accepted a position with the Paxton-Vierling Steel Co. in Omaha. Miss NICHOLS, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon NICHOLS of Benton, is a 1964 graduate of Mount Ayr Communith high school.

Florence and Charles W. LAWHEAD were elected worthy matron and worthy patron of Mount Ayr Chapter No. 356 Order of the Eastern Star, during the regular meeting held Monday night. Also elected were Marjorie and Richard PRENTIS, associate matron and associate patron; Edna BURGHER, conductress; and Helen GROSS, associate conductress. Officers re-elected are Marie McGILVRY, secretary, and Cleota LEPLEY, treasurer.

Student Ayr -- One of the highest honors a high school student can receive from the Iowa State Legislature has been conferred on Bob BURRELL, a Mount Ayr high school student, who has been selected to be a page in the Iowa legislature. He will go to Des Moines Jan. 8, where he will live in the Y.M.C.A. and in order to obtain his required credit for the semester, he will take a correspondence course from the Mount Ayr school.
