Hickory Grove News
Rose JAMES, Kevin JAMES and Neil JOHNSTON hosted a pig roast/potluck supper at the JOHNSTON and JAMES farm as a
part of the OLNEY family reunion. From this neighborhood, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis RINEHART, Athena STRANGE and Jena
JAMES attended. Tammy JAMES attended her class reunion in Mount Ayr on that night. On Sunday the OLNEY family
also had a potluck dinner at the Methodist Church in Redding. Attending from this neighborhood were Mr. and Mrs.
Hollis RINEHART, Neil JOHNSTON, AThena STRANGE and Rose JAMES.

Dean OLNEY of Sacramento, CA was a Wednesday evening visitor of Vera and Helen COMBS. Lila and Jim BRADLEY of Franktown,
CO and Joe OLENY of Abbeville, LA visited the COMBSES on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday Ed and June COMBS of Des Moines and
and Vera and Helen COMBS went to the OLNEY family reunion at the Redding United Methodist Church.

Olney Reunion
The OLNEY reunion was held on Sept. 4, 2005 in the Redding United Methodist church basement. Those present were

Carroll OLNEY of Redding; Joe OLNEY of Abbeyville, LA; Evan OLNEY and Brett SIMPSON of Knoxville; Dean OLNEY of Sacramento,

Vera COMBS was the oldest present. Justina WIMER was the youngest at 15 months. Attendance was down this year but a
good time was had by all visiting and catching up on the happenings of others. Hope to see you all next year.
