Motsinger Reunion
The annual MOTSINGER reunion was held June 21, 2003 in Benton at Waubonsie Memorial Center. Dinner at noon was catered
and enjoyed by all. Those attending were Amon HUNT, Darly and Shirley HOLDEN, Billie STRINGHAM and Mollie WALTERS,
Gene and Bertha MOTSINGER and Martha RICKER, Joe and Jake, all of Mount Ayr; Denzil and Socorro WAUGH and Norma, Bill
and David STRINGHAM of Benton; Jubal and Opal HUNT, Alan and Evelyn HUNT, Frances MOTSINGER, Bonnie EVANS, Uva STABE
and Billy CADLE, all of Grant City, MO; Barbara BELLIZZI and Myrna and Rex LUKO of west Des Moines; Rose and Dean MERRILL of
Kellerton; Joe MOTSINGER of Bondurant; Estelle M. HALL of Holts Summit, MO; Allyn L. JARRED of Tingley; and Butch and
Ina CHAPIN of Mount Ayr. Music and singing by Butch and Idna CHAPIN was enjoyed by all. Prizes were given to the
oldest gentleman, oldest lady, youngest child and to the person that traveled the farthest distance. Next year the
reunion will be held June 19. 2004 at Benton.
