Clough-Morley Reunion
The 98th annual reunion of descendants of Samuel CLOUGH and Mary F. (MORLEY) CLOUGH and their families was held Sunday,
August 21, 2005 at the Jade Garden in Creston, Iowa, with the following members present: Al and Dorothy CLOUGH, Dale
and Patty HAIGHT, all of Ellston; Mildred M. WOODS of Creston; Roy and Doris CLOUGH of Lawrence, KS; Roger MORRISON of
Mount Ayr; Sara Mae REESE of Lindale, TX; James K. CLOUGH of Kellerton; Mrs. Bonnie MORRIS of Afton; Luther and Jean
HAIGHT, Ginger LEIN, all of Urbandale; John B. CLOUGH, Robert R. CLOUGH, all of Palatine, IL; Marilyn R. PARK, Michael
J. LEO, all of Des Moines; John D. CLOUGH of Gates Mills, OH; Katy LEIN of West Des Moines. Besides Iowa, states
represented were: Texas, Illinois, Kansas and Ohio. John B. CLOUGH of Palatine, IL, age 91, was the oldest person
present. Katy LEIN, age 23, was the youngest. John D. CLOUGH of Gates Mills, OH came the farthest. President Al
CLOUGH gave the invocation which was followed by dinner at noon. During a brief business meeting, it was decided to
hold the 2006 reunion on the third Sunday of August, which would be the 20th, at the Jade Garden, Creston, Iowa.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent checking genealogical records, taking pictures and visiting.
