Eddie Leroy and Grace CANNON Reunion

On August 9, 94 descendants of Roy and Grace CANNON, along with four guests, enjoyed a bountiful potluck at the Southwest Iowa REC building. A short business meeting followed.

Rodney CLOUD was honored as the oldest gentleman and Mildred CANNON, the oldest lady. Angela MORGAN and sons Logan and Connor received the recognition of traveling the farthest, coming from Litiz, PA. Youngest baby was Marie BRAND, daughter of Scott and April BRAND of Audubon.

Following the business meeting, the party continued at Judge Lewis Park where games, swimming, visiting and homemade ice cream was served by Jim and Joyce WARD of Maryville, MO and Cathy WARD, Roxie TRULLINGER and Jessie WOOLLUMS of Mount Ayr.

Families traveled from West Des Moines, Indianola, Johnston, Eldora, Audubon, Bondurant, Villisca, Stanton, Hampton, Urbandale, Clive, Ankeny, Iowa City, Benton, Litiz, PA, Shawnee, OK, Checotah, OK, Overland Park, KS, Sheridan, MO, Colorado Springs, CO, and Maryville, MO.

Linda KONNATH will be in charge of the arrangements for 2010.
