The 27th annual Caldwell reunion, descendants of David H. and Luella GRAHAM CALDWELL, was held August 7, at the Waubansie Center in Benton. There were 37 in addendance, 27 who were direct descendants of David and Luella. Afterwards there was much visiting and picture taking.

There were three births since last year: Keaton Christopher ENGLAND on January 24, 2005 to Missy CALDWELL and Chris ENGLAND; Braxton HILL on February 4, 2005 to Jenni JOHNSON HILL and Nathan HILL; and, Ethan Tyeler McDANIEL on July 14, 2005 to Tara FLETCHER and Brian McDANIEL.

There was also one marriage, Camilla CAPLAN and William NING on July 30, 2004 and one death, Roena HUGHES of Portland this past winter, since last year's reunion.

Gifts were given for the oldest woman, AnnaBelle KNIGHT; the oldest man, Burl STULL; for the one who came the farthest, Jacque SPARKS of LaQuinta, CA; and the youngest member present, Ethan Tyeler McDANIEL.

Those attending were Helen and Burl STULL, Melissa CALDWELL, Christopher ENGLAND and Keaton, Eric CALDWELL, Jenni, Nathan and Braxton HILL, Monica PETERSON, Bill BARBER, Annabell KNIGHT and Beck, Jack and Mary CALDWELL, all of Mount Ayr; Phyllis and Ed BRYAN, Joshua JOHNSON, JuLee CALDWELL and Mark BAGLEY, all of Des Moines; Jane and Allan JONES, Skye CAPLAN, Chris STREVER, Ron CALDWELL, Tara FLETCHALL and Brian McDANIEL and Ethan, William and Cami NING, all of the Kansas City area; Carmetta BRENNAN of Excelsior Springs, MO; Debbie KNIGHT of Mount View, MO; Dwight, Michelle, Berik and Brandon SOLIS of Olathe, KS; Ken and Ruby SCHOONOVER of Deepwater, MO and Jacqueline SPARKS of LaQuinta, CA.
