Tent Chapel Cemetery is located on Iowa Highway #25, approximately three miles south of Blockton, Iowa, and about one-fourth of a mile north of the Iowa-Missouri border, Clinton Township of Ringgold County [SW1/4 Sec 30, T67, R31].

Joshua FLOREA donated the land for Tent Chapel Church, organized in 1893. His son, J. H. FLOREA was the last living charter member still alive in the 1960's.

Tent Chapel Cemetery was recorded for Ringgold County Historical Society by Betty Ruby and Ruth Haley of Diagonal in August of 1979; transcriptions updated in November of 2000 by Rick Wiley of Diagonal, and March of 2010 by Sharon R. Becker. Veteran information updated May of 2015 courtesy of Cathy Kilgore, Ringgold County Veterans Affairs; plot location from Raymond Banner's book, Cemetery Gravestone Recordings of Ringgold County.
