Johnston Cemetery is located Liberty Township, Ringgold County, Iowa; north of County Highway J-25 on 270th Avenue. [NW 1/4 Section 12, T69, R29] The physical E911 address is 1720 270th Ave., Mount Ayr, Iowa 50854.

Johnston Cemetery was recorded for Ringgold County Historical Society by Betty Ruby of Diagonal, Iowa, in 1977.
