SOME SCHOOLS CLOSE; ALSO TEACHERS RETIRE AND EXCHANGE
Grant No. 9 To Close; Others Still Open

Letters are being sent out this week from Superintendent E. D. Archambault’s office to parents of pupils enrolled in rural attendance centers. The letters explain changes in effect for the next school year.

“The Grant No. 9 school will not operate next year,” said the Superintendent. “Pupils in that area will be assigned to the Brunsville school year.”

Mrs. Edna Kehrberg, who teaches at Grant No. 9, will be transferred to Brunsville where she, Mrs. Winter and Mrs. Pecks will staff the 3-teacher school for pupils from Kindergarten through Grade 5.”
