SHIELDS-ROGERS

William Thomas Shields (II) and Jean Rogers were married in Ames, Iowa in 1946. After graduating from college, they came to the Center Ridge area where they have lived and farmed ever since. They have three children. David Arnold, who is at this point completing a residency in dermatology at the University of Iowa, married Linda Lee Perdue of Griswold. They plan to locate at Flagstaff, Arizona next summer where Dr. David will practice his area of medicine. Charlotte Ann is married to Andy LePage of Long Island and they live in Council Bluffs where they have a Family Services Counseling business. At present Charlotte is completing work on a Master’s degree preparatory to helping Andy in the business. Ava Ruth is working for a BA degree in her spare time from keeping house and a full-time job. Her husband, Arthur Reynolds and she live in Waterloo where he is employed by Chevrolet.
